Good to hear I'm not the only one with this issue. It's happened twice but it's not consistent. I never un-paired my BT, but a soft reset normally will fix it. I just hate missing calls or messages while it's down.

It might be your rom as well but it might just be Sprints rom too. I am currently back to Sprints stock rom and I am having the exact same issues at least as far as push email is concerned. My data issues I mentioned further up might be resolved but i have not done enough testing to determine that. I don't have mail2web unfortunatly so I can not verify the issue doesn't still exist with push mail but I know for mobipush, stock rom doesn't fix it.

I had the push issue also. Haven't had it on MSR 1.3, been running it for 2 days just fine. I'm sure Juicy will sort this out soon enough

Going to give MSR1.3 a try as well. If those using that rom have no issues maybe it will help Juicy narrow it down..

I have the push issue as well. However, as long as I keep Outlook Mail running it seems to work fine.

Another thing I notice is that when I get a meeting alert, I don't get the alert message box showing on the unlock screen. With the Sprint ROM I could dismiss an alert without unlocking.

I'm guessing that "Juicy" isn't connected to an Exchange server.

Re: * UPDATED * [10/12/2008] JUICY ROM 2.5 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

I haven't seen anyone else with this problem, but 3 out of every 4 incoming calls won't let me answer them. I will press the green on-screen button and the talk hard button and it won't work at all. I have to let it go to voicemail and then call them back. I thought maybe it was some software I loaded on 2.5 that I had never loaded before so I got rid of all the new software and it still happens to me. I've tried several soft-resets, but I don't really want to hard reset until the next rom that way I can cut down the flashing and reinstalling of programs and settings.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Thanks

Edit: The weird thing is that my wife doesn't have that problem with Juicy 2.5 on hers, so maybe it is software related...I don't know. And in case it matters or if someone knows if any of the software below causes problems than let me know

SPB Finance 2.8
SPB Backup 2.0.1
Resco Explorer 2008
Resco registry addin
Resco keyboard
Diamond Tweak 0.5.3
Diamond TF3D Config 0.6.7
Klaxon
iContact
SKTools
Sprint Picture Mail
ThumbCal
gyrator
Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.10W (which is awesome btw)

There is a fix for the delay answer being discussed over here:

Ok, i just flashed MSR1.3 and can tell you guys that the push email issue is juicy rom specific. I get my email pushed to my phone lightening fast with this other rom and sporadically with Juicys.

Any idea what the difference is when it comes to data settings between the 2 roms?

Any number of reasons. I think Juicy has more registry hacks then Mighty's but then it may not have even been a registry problem. I was looking at building my own rom and got dizzy looking over all the tutorials lol so I know this process can be very time consuming and can be prone to small errors.

Did you use juicy 2.4.1? Did you have any issues with that rom and push mail? Might help Juicy find the error as I am sure it's far easier to track the changes between 2.4.1 and 2.5 then an earlier version.
