I agree haha!! Especially when I use my phone for looking up patient info, drugs and reactions and stuff, I think I'll have to keep like 3 extra batteries with me!

I just wanted to thank you Juicy, you're roms are sooo much better than the stock Sprint rom. So far, my first day with 2.5 has been phenominal for battery life. Here is what I did last night during the flash process:

1. Backed up using Sprite backup 6.02
2. Hard reset
3. Flashed 2.5 (coming from 2.4.1)
4. Hard reset
5. Restored backup using rom upgrade mode and checking the restore databases box.
6. Had the best performance, by far, since the 16th of September when I received the phone.

I took the phone off of the charger (fully charged) at 8:45AM and it is now 12:07AM (15 hours, 22 minutes) later and I have 4 bars (40%) left:

Talked for 30-45 minutes
Sent 15-20 text messages

Normally I have to put my phone on the charger when I get home at 5PM, so I couldn't believe my eyes all day when the battery went down so slowly.

Keep up the AWESOME work Juicy, I'm definitely in love with version 2.5 for Sprint.

Thanks,
LNCHBX13
hmm I used sprite backup and did rom upgrade mode to restore the backup and it reverted it back to 2.41 =/

does anyone know of any backup program that will restore everything and keep the settings in the previous rom?

Something that Juggalo X put together - it lets you change some of the sound/notification settings that were previously unable to be changed if I understand it correctly.

Not 100% sure but I believe SPB Backup does this.

I have seen many people refer to hard resetting as part of the reflashing process throughout this forum. However, Tobey's step-by-step reflashing guide does not say that I need to hard reset. Therefore, I have not done so. Are there any potential risks from not hard-resetting during the re-flashing process? My ROM seems to be working well.

Re: * UPDATED * [10/12/2008] JUICY ROM 2.5 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

First, thanks Juicy for an awesome ROM that removes all of Sprint's garbage, and runs much smoother than any other.

I'm wondering if anyone else is noticing any lag, or sluggishness at all with this ROM (I tried 2.4, 2.4.1 and 2.5), and when running certain programs (memmaid, sktools, and even when adding/setting up my email accounts by cutting and pasting the information in, it seems to lag just a little bit).

I'm wondering if maybe I missed something during the setup? I hard reset a couple of times to make sure everything went through. It seems it happens after the first soft reset. Once I get everything setup, I soft reset, and then I setup my email, but when I was cutting and pasting the info in for username, etc it was a litle laggy. If I setup my email BEFORE I soft reset for the first time after installing, it DOESN'T lag, but programs like memmaid and sktools (there were a couple of others), seem that they're loading a litle sluggish on the screen.

Wondering if maybe a larger pagepool would help this, or if anyone else has had the same experience. Certainly no reason for me to go back to any other rom, but wasn't sure if this could be tied into some display type issue or something else.

Thanks

if you flashed the 2.5 it wont fall back to 2.4.1. once flashed it cant go back without you flashing back to it.
