Re: [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

I am what Mike would call a "junoir chef" but for some reason when I copy OEM base, (with the XIP/SYS package also installed in their correct places), buildOS does not recognize any OEMs.

I have used different OEM bases in the past with no problems.

Is anyone else having the same problem or is this a product of my ignorance?

I do not include option.xml's to give you choices of what to cook in or not.

Bascally that means everything within the oem will automatically cook in. I do this well because... It's my rom and when building, i just know that everything is always being included rather than worry about something not being checked off.

I am sure this has been addressed but I cant find it in the 960 pages. I have the might rom and the phone seems to turn off in the middle of the night. It is black and when i push the power button it does a soft reset. Second issue is with the lack of pics in the email is that Seven that is doing that? Thanks in advance.

Re: [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

I have a fairly weird question regarding building a custom ROM... any help would be great.

I purchased a Diamond off craig's list, was told its in good condition, but its not. Both WIFI and BT are not functional, which results in slow boot, and crashes DEVICE.EXE whenever its being called.

Seller wouldn't refund, Telus wouldn't RMA it due to warranty sticker removed (I just found out today when I took it in), doesn't seem worth it to send it back to HTC for service... so I would like to remove all BT and WIFI in my ROM.

I downloaded MightyROM4_21051, removed the following folders:

Bluetooth
Bluetooth_Lang_0409
BTDUN
Bth_A2DP
Bth_A2DP_Lang_0409
Bth_HID
Bth_HID_Lang_0409

What do I do to remove WIFI support? Also, anything else I need to do to make this work?

Thanks in advance!

Why cant I get sensorlock to work properly on this updated rom? I select lock everything when call is incoming, but it doesnt lock anymore.. It used to work with Mighty Rom 4.8, but now that I have updated to the newest MR final the program doesnt work properly..

Re: [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

Love this ROM. However I am putting this in a Diamond that I've never activated before... til now. And so I need to do an update data profile, so that Sprint's data servers authenticate this device on their data network (voice works fine).

How do I do this? On the stock Sprint ROM, there is an Update Profile app to do this. I don't see it on this ROM... (please don't tell me to burn in the Sprint ROM, update the profile, then switch to this ROM again... )
