well unfortunately ive already had a couple lockups.. resetting after those lockups caused hard resets. and some resets caused things to go missing and not work after bootup into 6.5

dunno, but imma stick it out and see what happens. ive already flashed back to stock, clearstoraged, etc etc.. nice rom though.. although the up and down slider on the right needs to be slimmer like stock. the fat slider takes up too much screen space as is. one thing i havent tried is backing up everythign on storage and reformatting that too on clearstorage, so i'll see if that does anything

That is what I did before going to MR 5. I formatted my internal storage while on my shipped rom. Did one more hard reset then I loaded MR 5 and performed a clear storage. I have not had any issues with the rom. It has been great. Good luck to you!

When posting problems , or lack thereof, can you guys please indicate whether you're using the MR 4 or 5? Just so we know :)

Mike, any reason for having Opera9.exe load on startup? It kills battery life substantially (as much as half). If you want to disable it I think the registry is HKCU/Software/HTC/Bootloader/Apps/Opera just delete the whole Opera thing.

i've been having issues all day, i love the rom but if i turn the phone off, it stops at the first boot screen, when it was working it would freeze up and hard reset itself, then stuff would be missing, OMG i wanna run wm 6.5 but my phone isnt liking it, i had the same issue with juicy's new rom

Have you tried my method from above, if not I would try:

1. Backup anything on your storage card
2. Flashed to shipped rom
3. Do a clear storage and format internal memory
4. After a full load, flash MR 5
5. Do another clear internal storage (no need to format the internal storage again)
6. You should be good to go, reload your internal storage from your backup

Hope this helps you

So far, after a couple of hours, I am very impressed with MR5 beta. Much smoother than what i had played with prior. I do, however, miss a couple of things that other chefs had installed - and did not realize they were not "stock" programs. Does anyone know how (or what it's called) to get the "people" tab? Also, the "quick menu" is not here. The rest, I can figure out. Thanks!!
Pete
