seriously loving it so far.. even the small things i used to never complain about but always wondered why it was slow (like weather refresh icon hovering over the weather changing behind it is now gone). weird stuff like that which I notice... hooray mikey!

It doesn't matter.
I usually flash from storage but this time I used the RUU tool.

Just be sure you take the correct steps

The old ones are CFC Compressed which are causing the White Boxes.

I have another question.. It may be a stupid one, but... I got my Diamond and am ready to flash it but do I need to actually activate the phone on my plan before I flash to the new ROM.. I am still using my touch right now and want to activate my Diamond 2morrow..

Im guessing it wouldn't be a problem, but just want to make sure...

The phone will need to be unlocked before flashing any custom ROM.

The phone can either be activated or unactivated. It makes no difference.

As I think about it, it's probably not healthy for me to sleep with my phone.
Or let my wife find it with something like that on it.

Is it lockable? Or is there a way to hide it?

Its kind of scary seeing you typing that above when your location says Disney World...
