Re: How To: Kitchens

Dern I found one flaw, When playing music through the HTC TouchFlo tab I can't change the volume.

The SprintTV thing was what I was getting at.

Thanks. Now I can cook up my own ROMs. As if flashing someone elses daily wasn't already enough. LOL.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Yo Tobey, Juggalo was talking about the different SYS versions over at the Juicy 3.1 thread about 20964 being older than 20757. Are you gonna release a version of that SYS module?

I'm not having any issues aside from the Sprint TV error and the annoying reminder about Manner Mode when putting the phone to vibrate. Other than that the past few days with the ROM I cooked up using these components has been very solid.

Re: How To: Kitchens

YO. He did't say it was older, he said it was fake, there's a difference. About 50% of that build IS 20757 and then a few random other versions that may be real or not, but are listed as being above 20757, and a few that are below (mainly bluetooth).

This is not directed at you, ntt, but everyone:

We (Myself, Ghetto, Juicy, Jug) are now looking into / testing a (almost) 100% 20757 port, including both the XIP and SYS. Once we're more comfortable with it, you'll see it here. Until we decide to release it, please don't ask, beg, whine, complain, tell us how much you're waiting for it, or any other post that has to do with 20757. You don't have it yet, your posts won't contribute to helping us, and will only postpone it by distracting me with useless posts.

If you want to express how much you are excited, say thanks to this post, and wait patiently. A lot of work is done to get these working properly and it'll be out when it's ready.

Re: How To: Kitchens

I just cooked my first ROM (...first WORKING ROM after many attempts... why not just remove the 1% battery option, etc... anyway...) Everything but the HTC Album seems to be working fine. Does anyone know why my Album would load, freeze, and force me to hit the home button to get out of it?

Thanks. Info below.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Hmm now that you mentioned that I went though the HTC Album and did find it freezing for about a minute when I use the MENU softkey sometimes. Weird...

I'm gonna replace the HTC Album folder for something slightly older to see if it fixes that problem. Calcu already listed the fix for Sprint TV on the Sprint TV in Custom ROM's thread so, seeing as the ROM I cooked with the latest GF/TC kitchen components has been smokin' for what I use normally I'm just gonna focus on downgrading HTC Album and the DShow and Streaming Media OEMs so that everything that I normally use just plain works.

Seems like I'll be running my own custom ROM for a good long time until they get a landscape enabled manila working like the one on the Touch PRO.

Re: How To: Kitchens

There's no reason to be using those old systems... the only reason would be sprint tv, but I believe Calcu said all you needs is the streaming media and dshow and you're set.

I don't know why it's not working, as it's already set up and works for everyone else

Re: How To: Kitchens

Yeah it was the OEM pack. He realized what OEMs had the problem when i told them that Sprint TV worked finer with my ROM only if I used OEM 1.06a. I just like the way this works so far. i tried using the 2.2 OEM pack and my phone got stuck on boot screen that says "Touch Diamond". I could not put it on boot log mode or anything so i got it replaced at the store for a new one with all the accessories.
