Yup I can confirm GPS is SMOKING for me. It actually locks on in less than 2 seconds after the first lock has been done prior to a soft reset. First lock takes like 10 - 30 seconds.

Honestly Tobey, hats off to you, this has been the best ROM I've used on my phone hands down. Everything I use is working and its smokin' fast. I'm just doing some of my own personal tweaks here and there with TouchFlo sensitivity and using Juicy's opera.ini file for some opera tweaks and it has been really solid.

Only weird issue I noticed once was that I was using Opera last night in landscape mode and everything was fine. Opera crashed to desktop, sort of speak, once like it sometimes does with pages that use complicated java so no biggie. But after it crashed every time I'd open Opera and close it (no matter if I was in landscape or portraite when closing opera) Manila would get switched to landscape mode and I'd have to switch it back manually. A little annoying but once I killed the opera9.exe process and the opera preloader using SK Tools the issue ended.

So far that has been the ONLY negative I've found during the 30 somewhat hours I've been using this ROM. Today I'm giving it normal use to see how good the battery is... :)

I concur... the new kitchen and sys are running fantastic for me as well. I have had NO problems with it at all, once I recooked with the VOIP selected.

Great job on this one C4RBON Team!!

Ahh... of course how could I forget. :P Props to all!!

And uh... any info as to what VOIP does? I know that we have to keep it in there for BT to work and that you're working on that particular issue with the kitchen but what does VOIP add? I haven't found anything... Not that I'm really interested in using it but just curious.

My final curiosity is the lack of the Page Pool Changer for the new kitchen? What's the reason? I like to use a huge Page Pool (32Mb) as these phones have RAM to spare and I normally keep every program closed when I'm not using it...

I don't know why... I'll look into it though.

Mine didn't work with your SYS but it's easy to fix in the SYS. Also just out of curiousity, why patch the DSMs to create a fake build?

Re: How To: Kitchens

Less people complain, plus 90% of the things patched are language and resolution files which are really independant of any SYS version.

Agreed... this kitchen is AWESOME. Thanks to EVERYONE involved.

Has my quest to find the perfect ROM really ended?? Looks like I'll need to find my fix elsewhere :)

I guess everyone thinks different, to me, since the original dump didn't come from a 480x640 english device, why should everyone think it did but oh well, it's not like it's harming anything
