Normally after I reflash, I load up that task manager, stop tmail.exe, and run pim backup to get my texts and call logs back. But the task manager is stalling upon opening. I've never seen that happen before... Anyone else notice this? It restored fine, but something is causing the program to lag...

EDIT: Bluetooth is NOT working. Getting an error "There is no Bluetooth hardware installed on this device." Sucks because everything else seems so good with this kitchen. Since I live in California, I have to use a bluetooth headset in the car. Guess I have to go back to my old ROM. Boo.

any reason for stopping tmail.exe? i've always restored contacts, call history, messages, and speed dials via pimbackup w/o stopping any processes. haven't had any errors, phone just gets slow sometimes after a backup, nothing a soft-reset doesn't take care of.

DLing the new kitchen now, thanks again tobey!

I must be crazy then, because using only direct extractions from the latest packages, my BT works, I can connect to my headset, and make multiple calls.

I read somewhere that stopping tmail.exe was the best way to ensure that the rethreading of messages would work. But everything restored fine without doing so. Guess I can save myself an extra step now.

I cooked twice with the same result, but I'll try redownloading the packages and see if that fixes the problem.

So can anyone else confirm if dotfred's task manager works or not? I use it all the time, and would hate to lose it if I build a new ROM...

Hats off to you Tobey, haven't found a single issue during the course of the day. Everything has worked normally and its hellishly fast. That build I ran with 20755 for the past 2 days was a snail compared to the oh so good 20931 SYS. The new kitchen cleared up the volume/select button issue for me and BT synched to my laptop, worked as phone as modem and paired to my car automatically just fine. Made a few calls with no problems and even tested A2DP with my laptop as the audio gateway and it worked fine.

After the 4th attempt (and a redownloading of all the modules), I'm still getting "there is no bluetooth hardware on this device" error. I've since disabled UC and I'm still having the problem. This pretty much tells me that either my BT hardware has fried since trying the new kitchen (doubtful), or its some weird OEM combination, even though I'm not using anything outside of the stock kitchen. I hate it when I'm the only one with a problem, but I'm stoked for everyone else that the kitchen is working out so nicely. I'll keep trying, and I'll be sure to post my results.

i had that same problem using the previous kitchen but i stoped having it with the previous kitchen using stock settings. Make sure you dont remove the key stock portions like voice command and such. I'm having zero bt issues using the new kitchen.
