Are you on Telus? I think the problem is that UC is missing from Telus config_operator.txt file... (its fine in Sprint and Alltel) Go to OEM | Carrier - Telus directory in your Kitchen directory Edit config_operator.txt in the line after "LOCK: Disabled" put: "EXEC: \Windows\SDAutoRun.exe" with no quotes. Save, cook, reflash, and it should work (unless there is a different way UC is being called that I can't figure out). Last edited by kaiguy; 11-13-2008 at 04:16 PM. |

Re: How To: Kitchens
Yeah I started googling stuff and found a few things - But me being me got side tracked
Yeah I did that with the manila section selected Sprint and the base - I ended up closing the BuildOS and then it finished the build. But, never gave me the DONE at the bottom of the screen. Dont worry about my last question - Just didnt read good enough. : ) Quote:

Re: How To: Kitchens
Hmmm... Once I screwed up compiling my ROM build because I had selected two packages that shared a file's exact name, an Opera OEM package and the Telus Carrier package. I figured it out by looking at the error that BuildOS gives you on the bottom of the screen and searching for that file within the OEM folder. That way you can identify if you are selecting conflicting packages or if its something you can easily fix.

Re: How To: Kitchens
Just flashed my first custom rom last night. After a few tries I got something that turned out pretty good. I was happy with how easy the basic building process was. Many thanks to Tobey and Ghetto for these great tools.
I am using the 20931 sys and am very pleased with it. The only problem I have run up against is that I am no longer able to get my 3rd party keyboard to stick as the default SIP. I have always used SIP Changer on pre-built roms, in the past to do this, but it no longer works. Looking forward to learning some of the advanced cooking techniques, such as adding reg edits and cabs. Thanks again! |

Re: How To: Kitchens
Anyone else having A2DP problems with 20931 v2a. I can't try V2b till I get home. But anyway once I turn on my headset try to play I get nothing but dead air in my headphones. Then I turn off the headphones and now my Diamond won't play any sounds until I soft reset.

Re: How To: Kitchens
weirdness... I don't have any a2dp devices to test with. Unless I think I've seen my laptops bt services identifying that I can use it as an a2dp device. Maybe I can do some testing later tonight with this.
