i think the problem is local and/or has fixed itself .... tested again 738kbps

Juicy, I am getting 502kb... that's about 200kb faster than I was at on the 2.2 Sprint rom.

that was my speed with 3 bars of signal. with full signal i'd assume a tad faster speeds. although, check this out

internet explorer -1027kbit/sec
opera browser - 500kbit/sec

quite weird

update: i cleared ie cache and stuff, tested again... 1500kbit/sec

opera is more processor intensive, and thus yields a lower speed report.

IE yields a more correct result
