I think the difference in drain between Telus and Sprint users is the radio rom. Juicy can optimize the rom, turn off unneeded things and tweak the hell out of what we have.... it gets better but a Telus phone will still beat the Sprint phone.

I wish I could report the same. I unplugged my phone from the charger at 3:30am. By 11:00am, the battery was down to 34%. 7 1/2 hours and my battery used 66%! BT and WiFi off. I have an Airave so signal strength should not have been a factor.

This battery life sucks!

The airave doesn't automatically mean no drain on the battery... You phone will continually search for an EVDO capable tower. (The Airave is only 1x) Set your phone to 1x only and see if your battery life increases.

ok juicy, you have work so hard on this that is time you take some time off. this rom is perfect, excellent battery life. The only modification i have done was changing the pagepool to 0 (dynamic)

What was the pagepool at before your changed it? The Sprint rom is already at 0 by default.

Out of curiosity, why isn’t picture mail included in the sprint rom? I know there’s a cab available, I have it installed on my phone, but I would think that would be a major utility for most sprint users. I could be wrong but just a question.

I've mentioned this before, and it just happend again on v 2.4 - I'll have to wait and see if v2.4.1 does it as well and I bet you it will since it's not a Juicy bug, but something with the phone or WM6.1 itself.

But what I've noticed is that sometimes the backlight never turns off, even when the phone is sleeping (either by time or by pressing the power button), although the screen is blank you can see the screen glowing ever so dimmly in a dark room.

And unfortunately the only way around it I've found is turning the phone off and rebooting.

I installed Juicy 2.4.1 ROM with the following steps:
1. Unlocked the phone
2. Ran RUU with the 2.4.1

Installation went fine.

Do I need to 'hard reset' the phone after installing the new ROM? If so, why?
