I am having issues with running icontacts. before on the previous versions i would just let it flash and restart and icontacts would be there. now when i click on the contacts it pulls up the windows contacts still. anyone else having this issue? or know of a fix?

You have to install iContacts.....maybe thats the problem?

just flashed to 1.5 but In the AC folder where is the s2u settings?

Depending on the version flashed, there was an error in the network settings which would prevent the phone from roaming onto Bell towers, this has been fixed, since then and reception may well have improved for the user.

Actually I was having an opposite problem. With 2.2, I was getting between 1 & 3 signal bars in my office. I flashed back to 1.08 and now have a solid 4 bars. I'm on Telus.

On a somewhat related note, I am getting pretty horrible speeds on dslreports/mspeed. Like between 150-300. Any reason why this might be so low?

ROM should have little to no bearing on signal. the radio portion is what controls the signal coming in. Flashing a custom ROM doesnt touch the radio portion.
