Gmail will not work unless you get jsmertic jbed emulator or something like that. Also, since it wasn't designed with VGA in mind, the font is REALLY, REALLY small. With that in mind, why don't you use the email program that comes with the rom? I have gmail and started a thread on how to use it with outlook since I thought the java Gmail was the best option.

It is NOT, and if you need help configuring your gmail with your outlook, let me know. I will be more than happy to help you out. It is worth using outlook for gmail if you know how to set it up correctly. Trust me on this one...

i bet your ringer is set to mute or vibrate

also always do a HARD reset after flashing not a soft reset.

also the calender thing.. it happens with the stock rom as well. Super annoying.

Are u referring to the switching from Day to Agenda view? This has never happened to me, I use it every day on the stock Sprint ROM.

No. The ringer is not set to mute or vibrate. It is set to Vibrate and Ring and the volume is turned all the way up.

Let's say I want to view the calender in the Monthly view all the time. I go to options and set it to Monthly view. Now, when I'm on the homescreen, and I click on calender, will stay on monthly view for about .5 seconds, then revert to the default agenda view. Clicking on the calender bar on the home screen can ONLY take you to the agenda view, regardless of what the option is set to.

i dont know what to tell you besides that you must have installed something that messed up the ringer script.

ive been getting calls all day on mine never an issue.

is there a way to prevent the wakeup on SMS event from happening? I will accidentily start inputting stuff while its in my pocket because i didnt realize i got a text message. I tried the registry edit but no go...
