Use the reset button when the 3 second count down starts.

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

I am in a bind here. I usually flash from a pc but not able to at this time. I did the "power, vol down, reset" and got the bootload screen to come up. Then it just sits there. I am not sure why but I need to reflash.
Screen shows
Security Unlocked
DIAM500
SPL-).57.CMONEX
MicroP-Diam (LED) vB
PSOC-Diam STAGE_EVT v20
Serial

Any ideas why it does not continue?

TIA!!!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (; U; ; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061208 Firefox/2.0.0 Opera 9.5)

For some reason the downloads I got were corrupt. I flashed the ROM I wanted once I figured out what was going on.

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

I have a sprint diamond, could someone list the top 3-4 Custom Roms for the Sprint diamond . . I value Battery Life, functionality & speed (meaning NO LAG! lol) ,MMs, and appearance (white flip clock, nice tf3d icons etc.) and want to keep Mobile 6.1, I dont care much for 6.5. . . I really like how the Juicy 8 looked with the white flip clock but didnt know if the 8 would work on my sprint diamond

I currently am running Mighty Rom 4.6 and its nice but there are some things i dont like, the sprint white flip clock doesnt exactly work (highlight wont go away and wont retract)

Help please

A few questions:

1) Kitchens are usually made by elite users like yourself. This is usually the base OS. Much like the TELUS OS that's shipped by default, except with tweaks etc that will make it easy for other "cookers" (again, elitos like yourself) to cook a new ROM with new apps builtin, etc. Right?

2) It's important that we unlock before flashing a new ROM/kitchen. However, after flashing a new ROM/Kitchen and then let's say we try another ROM/Kitchen, do we try to unlock again? Or once unlocked, forever unlocked?

3) Cmonex sounds really hot. Is she?

Thanks again!

Hello, guys!
I have a CDMA Diamond and currently have the Juicy 3.4 ROM. Pretty old!
I want to upgrade to this ROM. But if I upgrade do I lose my carrier settings?
I'm from uzbekistan! My carrier is Perfectum Mobile 2000 x CDMA. No Ev-Do!
And what about the Hard SPL, and SSPL? Do I also need them?

There are several different ROMs that use Windows Mobile 6.5. Once you have unlocked your phone and reviewed the instructions for flashing, check out some of the ROM threads under CDMA TP Upgrades. ROMs that currently have 6.5 include MightyROM, Juicy's ROM, Indagroove's ROM, and several others. My personal favourite is SSK which is available in 6.1, 6.5, and 6.5.1.

Note that all the above links direct you to the Touch Pro section of the forum, not the Touch Diamond section where your previous message (and this one) was posted.
