However, I recently had to exchange my phone due to a hardware failure and Belldid not notice that I had the stock ROM loaded.

Regarding dumping your ROM, that will not produce a ROM image that you can use for flashing. That procedure is primarily used by chef's to extract different packagegs for cooking into their own ROMs.

So you flashed it back to the stock ROM and then locked it and they didn't even notice...lol...

It would be nice to have the shipping ROM...maybe it will get uploaded eventually.

I appreciate the explanation on Dump My ROM.

Which ROM are you using right now? MightyROM6? EnergyROM?

I am using MightyROM4 final. It is the last WM6.1 version of MightyROM. It is not cutting edge (no WM6.5, no rhodium) but it is extremely stable and bug-free. When I get a bit of free time I would like to check out EnergyROM and MightyGroovyROM.

I canvassed several forums with this question a couple of months ago. The unanimous answer was that it is not possible to unlock or relock from internal storage.

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

I had a Touch Pro at one point and had used SSK's ROM with success. I just purchased a Touch Diamond and found his new website with huge dearth of information. I just assumed that since it worked fine on Verizon last time, that it would this time. I found very few posts and found that the admin has prevented new people from registering, so I couldn't even post a question. So I found a link to this site and ran the unlocker without reading the fine print, figuring that since SSK specializes in Verizon that any link would be for Verizon. The unlocker ran fine and then I tried SSK's ROM but it wouldn't work. Then I read the fine print on your site that this will not work on Verizon. I went into the bootloader screen and it says the following; Security Unlocked, DIAM400, SPL-0.58.0000,MicroP-Diam (LED) v81, PSOC-Diam STAGE_EVT v20. So have I damaged the phone by running this program? Is SSK still in the business of making ROM's? Is Mighty ROM better? Should I do something to undo the running of this unlocker, which says it unlocked, but apparently didn't?

Good news is, your phone is ok. Bad news is that you corrupted your rom. You need to find a stock Verizon rom and reflash the phone. I have not seen one yet, hopefully someone has one. You may have wait till Verizon/HTC release an update.

Do not try to flash any other rom then an official Verizon rom. Your phone is still lock regardless of what it says at the top of the bootloader screen.

I just flashed back to telus shipped rom since my screen cracked and I wanted the software back the way it was when I got it.

Anyways, when flashing with the diamondlocker.exe, I get an error saying the phone is not connected.

Whats the solution?

I hate to ask this but what is the best way to stop the customizations from running after flashing to a shipped ROM? I want to flash to a new ROM quickly without having to wait for something I will not use. TIA
