Re: Diamond_C CDMA SSPL and HardSPL package is here now!

hi guys, I have a Sprint Diamond, (obv)
I have tried both HSPL043 and 057 and still get the same error:

Error [244]: Invalid Model ID

"This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your update utility".

Should I try the GSM one?

Here is my Phone info:

ROM Version: 1.03.651.4
ROM Date: 11/11/08
Radio Version: 1.03.15F

Any ideas? Help before I get impatient and brick my shit with the GSM Bootloader.. lol

Thanks in advance.

Using the GSM one will brick your phone for sure. Have you tried on a different PC. I've gotten that error sometimes while trying to flash a ROM and it was due to the PC. If I kept trying it would eventually work, but it took many times to complete the flash. It would stop somewhere before 100% and give the error you listed. I think it had something to do with activesync being messed up.

IF anyone gets "Error [202]: Connection" go into the phones connections and find USB to PC and uncheck the advanced connection option.

Re: Diamond_C CDMA SSPL and HardSPL package is here now!

If I do the Hard SPL load .57 and flash a verizon ROM to my deactivated alltel Diamond 500, will I be able to use the phone on my verizon account? Trying to figure out how to Flash my phone from the alltel network to the verizon. The Verizon and Alltel techs won't do it..

anyone have some tips or insight? Thanks!

vdubbin looks like you found your answers elsewhere. While I was searching for the threads to help you I saw you already found them. Congrats!

Re: Diamond_C CDMA SSPL and HardSPL package is here now!

There is NO WAY to unlock the Verizon DIAM400 phone, so if that is the model you have, then you will NOT be able to HardSPL or Flash ANYTHING at all...say THANK YOU, Verizon, buy out your contract, or upgrade your phone if you like, or just stick out your contract with your current phone and "Don't worry...be happy"
