Do I need to Flash HARD-SPL before flashing a custom rom on the diamond?
i came from a touch, so i never heard of hard-spl and all i use to do in the touch was unlock it, flash new radio ver, and new rom thats it

Hard-SPL = unlocker

Well this is funny..
I got a Diamond Unlocker from the sticky here. thats what it was called diamond unlocker.. and from here I ran the hard-spl DiamondC_HSPL057.exe .. and then flashed my first rom .

So I dont know what did the diamond unlocker really did ... i thougtht he hspl057 was something extra that needed to be done for the diamond

diamond unlocker @ XDA is for GSM Diamonds, this is the one for CMDA

So I ran the Diamond Unlocker first, and I tried flashing a radio but didnt seem to get it , I still have the same 1.00.00F radio version. After that I flashed with hspl and now my tricolor says SPL-0.57.CMONEX so im good

hi. i try to flash with cdma spl, and now my phone don't start..even in bootloader...after that i find out thet it is a gsm diamond....can i do somenhing to repair it?? pls...i really need to get it back....

Instructions:

first, if you have GSM diamond (NOT CDMA, NOT SPRINT/VERIZON/TELUS), this will brick your device.

I don't think there's anything you can do.
