Thanks, I had read post #528 but only point that CHT 2.0 is the problem. Well my solution is not so clean but at least is 100% working.
I will explain two option:
1) (first one will make your boot time increase 4 seconds)
just make a shortcut of
"\SetVolume\SetVolume.exe", "-hide"
and copy to \windows\StartUp\ folder
2) Second one make a shortcut of
"\SetVolume\SetVolume.exe", "-hide"
and put it in your quicklinks and run it before change volume for first time
(this will fix only until next boot up)
Choose Wisely (I attached my shortcut ¡¡ unzipped to use it !! ).

LOL, I don't know how to cook so I don't mess with NBH.
But I use CHT 2.0 to make default Wallpaper the \My documents\Wallpaper\ and put there all the wallpapers need it (640x480 and 480x640) in low weight. (my wallpapers weight average 12kb).

UUPPPPSSsss sorry I think I don't test it well in 21683, so now in 21684 You are totally correct: "long press END key" it push up Quick-Endkey. So Again put in your "wishes list" for future ROM to take off "psShutXP".

One more question, how is call the process after flash something "windows is personalization or custominization" and when finished it reboot.
Is this Shashimi process or XUC process??

This is an old problem w/Sense-WinMo that I am interested in trying to fix. Do you know if NRGZ's solution is working on Sprint/CDMA? The only possible solutions I know of are a modified HTC Messaging Client and ArcSoft, neither of which I include in my ROMs for various reasons. It would help a lot if you have any clue as to what NRGZ is using. It's possible the problem was addressed in one of the later HTC Messaging Packages, but seems those had other problems associated with them on our phones.

RE: set volume. Sorry, again had difficulty understanding the original posting on this. Will look into your solutions.

RE: cooking. No need to learn how to cook. There is a tool that allows you to remove and insert files into an NBH. Since I don't use it, I can't remember the name but will look for it for you if you are interested and if you can't find it.

RE: Long press end-key. Glad it is still there; was worried a bit that maybe I had done something.

3) RE: customization. Sashimi.
1) I think my question it is still not clear. The issue (if we assume the problem is CHT) is that after install CHT 2.0 when you hit "up or down" to set volumne it appear the ugly windows "setvolumen.exe" and not the Black HTC "setvolumen.exe". (sorry I hope this time I was more clear)
2) I will look to it, I had only read once a tutorial from OMJ for kitchen but get lost in the way.
3) The same with Sashimi I start reading murducky's tutorial but never finish to read the hole tutorial.

There is a cab in the first posting of this thread called LockDevice that I think will do what you want. It uses the WinMo locker to lock the Diamond upon hitting the suspend button.

Re: Lite O.a.T. ROMs | Because lite & O.a.T.s are good for you. | Updated Nov. 21, 20

I have had the diamond for years, and have loved every minute especially with oats roms, but sadly I have to move on.

This is where I am having trouble. I have narrowed down my choices to Iphone 4 or epic, both require a change in contract. With the epic I need to upgrade to sero premium with $10 upgrade and loss of discount. This makes the Iphone 4 plan the same price with discounts.

So my question is what phone is most of you diamond users going to upgrade to?

I like the smaller footprint of the Iphone and not having to carry around an ipod along with a phone, but I have been with sprint for ages and actually like the company. Probably because it is so cheap.

Let me know your thoughts.

First, thanks for the kinds words about the ROMs. Next, although I will probably be upgrading to either an EVO or Epic in the next 2 weeks, largely because I'm already locked into Sprint for 2 more years, and given the same cost for you between Sprint and AT&T plans, I would suggest you go with iPhone. I say this primarily because I recently got the new iPod Touch 4g and it is very good to excellent IMO. And it's only shortcomings, like poor camera, no GPS, etc., are all addressed in the iPhone. Also, not to be discounted is the Apple app store, which really does have an impressive selection of apps, many free. The only caveat I would place is if AT&T service is not good in your area; so I would urge to check on that first. If you do go with the iPhone, I do have one word of advice: "Jailbreak".

Hi bigrcee.
In my opinion, both the Epic and the iPhone 4 are seriously flawed phones- The Epic has ALWAYS BUGGY Samsung software on top of its slow Android updates and the GPS issues still seem to linger after (slow to market) updates.

Then there's the iPhone 4 with it's constantly cracking (I've seen many in person) back plate and antenna issues.

With that said go with the EVO since you're looking at 4G superphones. Big, solid, beautiful, and software so smooth my first grader can use it (A sibling has one.) This is not a case of fanboy-ism. My family and I have dealt with Samsung phones (notice I said dealt with) of all types and now all of us have either an HTC or a Palm phone and we just look back and laugh.

In summary:
1. EVO 4G
2. iPhone 4 (despite workable-ish flaws)
3. Epic 4G

(*Steps off soapbox*) Just trying to help . Personally I'm going for the EVO or its successor.

->Interesting note: The Epic 4G finally received its 2.2 Froyo update today, the day of the official 2.3 Gingerbread announcement. Irony + failure.

Thanks for the opinions...I liked the Evo, but it is just to big for my small pockets. Also the epic seems to have a better screen resolution.

As for coverage ATT is much better than Sprint where i live. I just hate to give up a plan where I saved a ton of money.

So many choices.....

Thumbs up Re: Lite O.a.T. ROMs | Because lite & O.a.T.s are good for you. | Updated Nov. 21, 20

ATT's coverage is better? Wow. Honestly I'm shocked and I mean that in a completely emotionally neutral way lol.
The EVO is huge, but it fits in tight jeans just fine (with BodyGaurdz) and once you watch videos and browse the web on that massive screen... Wow. There's no going back.

But it's the plan that kills you in the long run and a pretty smile and a good story are enough to replace a cracked iPhone (Foxconn is still evil). I know from experience .
If it saves you money, go for it!

Oh and by the way the screen resolution on the Epic is the same as the EVO. The pixel arrangement on its AMOLED screen actually "blurs" text but makes movies and pictures look... well... epic. LCD's (like on the EVO) are still the best for use in sunlight. Still, the iPhone has the best screen in every area with its crazy resolution. Hands down.
Power management on AMOLEDs (glares at Samsung's software department?) is still iffy and could hamper you depending on usage. It definitely hobbles the Nexus One.
