I've had this rom for about a week now and so far I like it. I came from Energy ROM too, and I like some of the bells and whistles that Energy has, but unfortunately it just isn't that stable for me. I have lots of problems with the text messaging and I use that the most. So I held off on this ROM for a while, but I'm glad I changed over to it. Some quick thoughts:

--I'm also unable to save Contacts using Manila. I've tried saving via text message screen and also through the Contacts screen. If you hit "Add New Contact" it doesn't do anything. I will try via Windows and see what happens.

--I've also missed a couple calls because the slider didn't work exactly right. It slides, but then almost resets to the same position. But usually when it does that, I can still pick up the call, but I will try the hardware option perhaps.

--A couple features I would like to see: A weather option on the Home Screen. I love that feature and it would be cool to see it built in.

--Compact Qwerty built into the ROM. Finger keyboard seems ok, but my fingers are too big for it. Maybe if it was a bigger screen.

--Speed seems pretty good, but it did bog down for a while. I did a soft reset and it's fine now.

--In the Settings Tab, what is Gen.Y Manila? I clicked on it and it doesn't do anything.

I don't want to write too much, but so far I like this ROM. Good job 2B~! It's nice to see someone still supporting the Diamond. I could see myself using this for a while.

hey this is a great rom . i was about to change my phone and now i changed my mind A++++ the only thing i see with it is when you click in the internet icon it wont connect . im new on this , the only way it will connect it if i open IE from programs. thanks A+++

From this rom, I found problem about phone(incoming call) and internet.
When I use internet(IE) and it have incoming call, but it does not have ringtone and not show incoming telephone number.
Can I fix this problem.

Odd. You should be able to connect your cellular data and/or WiFi from the Comm Manager.

I can't say I ever experienced this, but only because I never used PIE ("Pocket Internet Explorer"). I'd say you'd be somewhat better off by using Opera Mobile 10 for your internet browsing needs.

Hello there everyone - it sure has been a while since I posted last in this thread. Just thought I'd letcha'all know that since MultiUpload shut down, I have uploaded an emergency copy of Elite onto a different flaky filehost. I know "DepositFiles" isn't everyone's favorite, but that is where it is residing for now until we can find something else.

A bit late for the game. Just flashed your summer release ROM for my wife's old diamond, and here I want to report a few annoying problems for solution or workaround.

1. The internet tab did not work at all. Click on the browser and did nothing, click on any push page links, nothing either.

2. The mail tab is not responding, and I could not find anywhere else to set up email accounts. The mail set up in "settings" tab did not respond either.

I love the looks and speed, but mail and internet not working properly is a huge problem for me. Any solutions? Thanks a lot.
