Re: Very Light Sense 2012_Jul 3_

O.a.T. I appreciate your afford. I really like this ROM ever since I installed it. One thing, I can't find an option to sync my google calender (i think using microsoft push?). I used to use it a lot. Am I missing anything?

Glad you like the rom and it is mostly working well for you. I don't sync a google calendar myself, but some in my private group do. They mostly use ActiveSync, but a few have moved to the free version of NuevaSync, which they say they like better than ActiveSync.

Glad it is working well for you. Re: Google YouTube and IE, you got it. I use IE as my heavy hitter and Opera Mini for light-n-fast.

I think SPB turns it off during install, I did check and it was already off.

I'm probably not gonna mess with it at the moment, things are working fine. I'll reburn your next update and see report back then.

2.5.2016/23541 rom

Well, I just built and flashed a 2.5.2016/23541 ROM. Little bit scary since it actually seems to be working very well; no problems with any of the tabs. My hat is off to Programatix.

Now for a few observation. The first thing you won't notice is much difference in the size of the rom; only about .12 MB smaller. On a soft reset, free memory is at approximately 80.8/105.5 MB for Storage/Program with nothing extra installed. Maybe seems a little quicker on start up and maybe a little smoother on the slide bar than 2012. But that may just be because it's been so long that I used a straight Sense ROM; i.e., no SPB MS or Co0kie or MaxSense. The available 12 quick links on the home tab are very nice. Not much more to say about it, and that's probably the best news possible - no bad news.

I'll probably be loading up the rest of my apps and gui modifications today and see how it goes over the next few hours. If there are no deal breakers, everyone should see a very light 2.5.2016/23541 and a very light 2.5.2016/21895 in the next day or so.
