Hi,

I just loaded 1.4 this morning. I'm having problems with the menu getting stuck open.

For example, if you start google maps and press Menu, Options and Use GPS. The menu will get stuck in the open state. It looks like it will get stuck open after clicking on any sub menu--top level menu items work ok.

After it get's stuck, I have to reset my phone.

Anyone know of a work around/fix for this?

How can I turn of the automatic slide to unlock? I don't need my phone locking everytime the screen goes off but I can't find a way to disable this feature.

Odd, I just tried it and it works perfectly for me. No menus getting stuck open.

If you are not using HTCMenuEnhancement, there is a bug in 23544 that makes the menu's get stuck. You need to either use HTCMenuEnhancement or gwes.exe from 23541 to fix the issue. I don't think it occurs every single time you open a menu, but more randomly.

this is the best ROM I've used by far. Unfortunately, there are two issues that cause me to hit refresh on this page over and over.

1) I have all of my contacts in international format (using the + symbol & country code for all numbers. So in the US, a contact would have a phone number of +18005551212 (instead of 8005551212 or 18005551212). Dialing a contact like this gives me a fast busy. I tried disabling the HTC dialer, but it happens with the stock dialer as well. Perhaps a config issue that someone can assist with?

2) The above issue with the menu getting stuck. I disable Manila (or rather, unselect it and use the Windows Default). This causes the above menu issue to occur much more often than is desired. To be honest, I'm much more ok with this than above.

Overall, the speed of this ROM and available space make this a supremely usage ROM for most people. For me, I'm hoping for a quick fix on the above.

I used this ROM over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Quick for a Sense ROM and didn't run across many (any?) bugs. I may keep for a bit.
