Re: Just dropped my SERO plan for the everything plan
Waste of seros. You could have gave or sold them to other people making some money back and/or helping someone get a cheap plan. boo lol

It's only 20 bucks a month and you got unlimited mobile to mobile and no restrictions on what phone you can have. I'd feel ok with that.

Re: Just dropped my SERO plan for the everything plan
After reading these comments, I panicked and called sprint pack and undid the changes. Now I'm back to my 4 lines with sero for $30/mo each. I think I'll hold on to sero for another couple of years. The Touch Pro 2 is a solid phone from what I hear and I'll probably get that since it's compatible.

I think you are right to get your SERO back. When you think about the price difference over a year or two, it is hard to think of a phone which would be worth the cost.

Re: Just dropped my SERO plan for the everything plan
While completely speculative, I agree with the above. I doubt someone would be able to keep paying $30/month for decades to come. At some point, I think you'll have to drop sero to get any type of upgrade. I'm guessing it'll happen with WM7.

Re: Just dropped my SERO plan for the everything plan
Meh.
I'd say for the extra $20/month, you should have dropped SERO. As much as I think SERO is a sweet deal for those who have it, it's also hurting ALL Sprint customers for those plans to keep floating around. Sprint makes less money (arguably) which means less subsidization for high-end phones. But, SERO is a sweet deal...so all in all, you made the right move.

If Anything, sprint's making more more (and yes I'm arguing lol) off Sero plans because people can't get the Pre, Hero, etc, and those are the phones they lose the most money on via subsiding. Furthermore, my gf gets a free upgrade every year due to being premier, which is an additional cost. I mean nothing personal, but I'm just tired of people spewing this crap that makes no logical sense, and don't even throw anytime minutes at me as an excuse. We all know no one on the newer plans is using anything other than their unlimited anytime mobile minutes. Just my op |
