Re: My day with Sprint (re: Touch Pro 2 & SERO)
I get nothing really. Dont get the $150 and I have had the same phone 2yrs.
I get $25 off retail, or $75 for 2yrs. No MIR either. So... $599-$25 or $599-$75 Option 2...ebay. lol And no MIR cause my plan is not $39.99 or higher. This means i'll still get it cheaper on ebay & not renew my contract. Not gonna renew 2yrs and still pay $525 While I love my bill, I dont love it that much to pay that AND extend my contract. |

Re: My day with Sprint (re: Touch Pro 2 & SERO)
The SERO F&F 500. $30 plan. They had kept a 23% off too, so I pay $27.05 with tax.
But when I log into the everything site and click the TP2 it is either $25 for a 1yr renewal or $75 for a 2yr. They even show a 23+ month eligibility, but the chat rep said that's still all I get. And he said I dont get the $150. I looked on the site and you need a plan that is $39.99 or higher I think. PS.. Just saw the new CLIQ on T-Mobile for FREE on contract. Sheesh! If I could equal out my plan with a free phone i'd change, but it is so hard when you only pay $27 I mean i'm gonna pay that JUST for data. Actually more. So there really is no way with tax and what I have, I can switch. Even paying $500 on a phone, over time it equals out. BUT...Here is the kicker I think. When will our plans disappear? I hope never, so I have waited a long time for a new phone to use with my SERO. I may have to pay up on the phone. But again, it is still cheaper. Last edited by quickstang; 09-10-2009 at 06:59 PM. |

So many fails here, I'm not sure where to begin.

I also acknowledged your upgrade to the original TP last October...many, MANY times. Quote:

1. You pay pennies a month for service 2. You're not technically eligible for any sort of equipment discount at this point in time. 3. You've only been a Sprint customer for 2 and a half years, which in terms of being a wireless customer, is basically nothing. It's almost less than nothing. 4. Sprint is bending over backwards and offering you $100.00 off the price of the TP2. Be happy. Be VERY happy for what you've been offered by Sprint.

Re: My day with Sprint (re: Touch Pro 2 & SERO)
i don't have a SERO but i do have a $99 family plan with just me and my wife i get a corp. discount for 25%. i got my diamond 10/10/08 from a retail store(it was going to be their display model)i got the corp manager to sell me it because my old phone was in like 8 pieces.i was not up for discount for 2 months. well he sold it to me for discount pricing waived the rebate. then he took $100 off for my troubles. so i paid $167 total tax and activation.
well today i loged on to my sprint.com and it said that i was a premere costumer and i qualify for adtional discounts(7yrs) it gave me the 2yr $150 discount plus the $75 for my 1yr discount. so i called in and was able to talk the person(easy actually)in to giving it to me for $124 shiped and waived the rebate.

Re: My day with Sprint (re: Touch Pro 2 & SERO)
Midwest Drummer: I know what you said, but it still didn't seem like you fully understood my eligibility for some reason since you were going on about how I wasn't eligible for a discount, as if the few weeks was so important. Sprint is not bending over backwards for me by giving me my $75 discount slightly in advance. It's a nice gesture, but come on, don't give them that much credit. The $25 is also nice of them to give me as well, but you must understand something here. Verizon is selling the same exact device for $150 cheaper.
That is something to complain about, isn't it? If I have a Wal-Mart ad for a Toshiba laptop that's on sale for $399, and Best Buy carries that same laptop for $499, I can bring the ad in to Best Buy and they will sell it to me at the same exact price. Why would they do that? Because they're a great company with whom I've done business with for many years now. Sprint refuses to price match on their phones, and I think it's ridiculous that I have to pay $150 more for the phone itself, regardless of what plan I'm on. If Sprint offered to simply sell it to me for $450 to make up for the price difference at Verizon, I'd be happier, but they won't, and I think that's bad business for a company this large. Oh, and P.S. Don't call me son. You look like you're 18 years old (if that's you in your sig). Last edited by Cicatrize; 09-10-2009 at 07:15 PM. |

Re: My day with Sprint (re: Touch Pro 2 & SERO)
What makes someone a premiere customer? I have seen several people talking about this and I have never heard of such a thing. I have been a customer of Sprint since 1998 and I don't have premiere status. What are the requirements?

Re: My day with Sprint (re: Touch Pro 2 & SERO)
Woah! Thems fighting words in heah! Common! Its natural for ppl to bargain for the best deal possible! Specialy with this economy! I mean...... have you guys seem the houses and cottages Cell Company CEO have? Its ridiculous how lavish they live. Dont get me wront! I am a capitalist! I truly believe in hard work and good business and if you make a fortune then you earned it and owe no one a dime. You all have to remember Sprint makes all their money off they monthly service fees. Not by phone sales. Sure phone sales help when its a new customer but for current customers its really the monthly payment that pays for their beautiful houses by their lake. lol. Flame on.
