Switching from T-Mobile, # question

Right now I am T-Mobile family plan and the contract ends January 2010. The problem is, I just want my one line to leave T-Mobile for Sprint. What I was wondering, is there anyway I could keep my current number without having to pay an ETF? Or are there any other "work arounds" to keep my number? Thanks in advance for help :buddies:
