Honestly its just as hit or miss as getting a new one. The one nice thing is that since it was sent back already the know issues are fixed. If not then you have insurance and its free to get a another one.

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

quick question for the sprint folks.
i got my mogul replaced cause it was malfunctioning. the replacement got 3 white spots on it. got that replaced. the 2nd replacement's keyboard stopped working after 2 days. the 3rd replacement got a bright white spots on it.
sprint people have told me that HTC has declared that the white spots are cosmetic and do not hinder the phone's operability thus white spots are not reason for them to replace moguls. is that true? what can i do? I'm really frustrated now. every time i got to replace my contacts and address book and reinstall my progs.
what are my options?
thanks

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

I brought a new sprint touch pro from a friend, working fine for 2 months, then the usb stop woring, I called sprint they told me sprint only cover the first month, after that i have to call this other company call pcd, so i called them up, they told me to send the phone in for repair. so I sent the phone in, didnt get it back till like over a month later, and they told me that the phone had physical damage and had illiagal software installed and will not repair it. so i figer i will just have to buy a battery charger for it. then I call sprint to activete the phone again, had the tech on the phone with me for over 3 hours, could not get it to work. so i went to a sprint store to see if they could do it, same thing no luck. so i called my friend who worked at a phone store and did some search online, and found that the ESN and the MEID is all 0's in the EPST screen. so i called PCD again to ask what they do to my phone, they keep saying they didnt do anything to it cause its out of warrenty, strangly that the usb is working fine agian but ESN is erased, i argued with the manager for a hour and he refuse to do anything. does anyone got any suggestion.... please help....

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

Question for a Verizon rep.
I bought my wife a used XV6800. I will be adding it under her number in a few days. She currently has no insurance just some extended warranty on the line now for her samsung sliding phone. Can TEC be added to her number when I swap the XV6800 esn in? Let me know if you need anymore information.

Just noticed a pm is required. I will pm Ca2l3vin

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

Question regarding the HTC Mogul - 6800. Old issue, looking for new insight.
The 6800 has issues on occasion releasing the data connection when attempting to answer an incomming call. Answering with the hard (green) key or the soft key don't seem to make a difference. I'm wondering if there's a way to give higher priority to the "phone app" so that it responds quicker. I usually miss 20-30% of my incomming calls over this issue.

My outlook is syncing to an exchange server during the day, not on evenings or weekends. I've no today plug-ins polling data.
Stock sprint rom: 3.56.651.0
Radio ver: 3.42.02
SCI = 1

Any suggestions welcome,
Thanks.
