Sprint out of Mogul?

I called today to get my Mogul fixed after having an issue where the phone constantly reset...With in the first two minutes I was informed that i would be receiving an HTC Touch Pro monday...but heres the catch... no battery comes with it? Kind of odd but they ran out of Touch Pro batteries...

Also when i tried the online advanced replacement it informed me i would be receiving a 6800...So it might pay to call (1-800-SPRINT1), thats the number i used and I thought this might be a chance for people who are having issues with their mogul to give it a shot.

Maybe the Mogul is EOL?

I thought the Touch Pro replaced the Mogul anyways.

Probably since its a phone with similar features...but to go from a 180 dollar phone i bought off ebay to a 599.00 touch pro is a nice little surprise

Yeah there was a whole thread about it a while ago. People were pointing out that if you were having problems with your Mogul, now was the time to swap it out for a replacement because they were mostly out of Moguls and were replacing them with Touch Pros. I had been tolerating screen issues and keyboard issues for a few months and had just planned to hold on to it until the Pre came out. When I read that thread I swapped mine out for a Touch Pro and it is holding me over until this summer.

The mogul is at its EOL and the successor to it is the TP. FYI

i would keep checking online as mentioned in the posted threads. i traded my malfunctioning mogul out for a new touch pro with an extra battery. i think they may have meant that they were out of extra batteries to send with the touch pro, one already comes packaged in the box.

Yeah I hope so...I guess what I was trying to say was I read alot of posts about the mogul and peoples issues with it on here...but apparently its not completly dead...there are still refurbing the ones they get back...So if I send mine back they are going to refurb it and give it to someone else with a mogul issue...so the chance of you still getting another mogul is still pretty good

I just got my two moguls swapped out for two Touch Pros free of charge. They even sent me a free return kit to return the phones.

I had to go through hell with Sprint Telephone reps until I finally gave up and used the Online Chat on the Sprint.com site and the chat reps are so much better. They had my order processed and shipped to me and the new touch pros came the next day at my doorstep!

The Touch Pros are superior to the Mogul in every way and I'm very happy that Sprint finally did the right thing and switched out my two POS Moguls for Two BNIB Touch Pros.

i got the vogue and loving it my cousin has the touch pro i dint like it does not have as much customization and its big and some of the animations sucks
