yes im glad they have allowed ppl to get out of their moguls and into their TP's...of course out of the box this phone is horrible...but im running MightyMike's Rom 4.12 and honestly i cant find anything wrong with it...its smooth fast and has everything on it any user would need. so when yall get your TP check out his ROM. it will definitely create a good customer experience with that on your TP

I just went to the self serve site to see about getting a Touch Pro to replace my mogul, but the following is what it says I'll get. Looks to me like they're sending Refurb Moguls. Has anyone else seen this only to be surprised by a new Touch Pro when it arrived, or are they really sending refurbs out now?

Ive went thru 3 moguls and finnaly got a rep to replace my mogul with a touch pro for free at NO CHARGE thank god cause all the moguls ive got have just been trash, i even purchased my mogul brand new and at full price.. Hope everyone gets a new touch pro !!!

Same issue for me at 8:45 AM on the 15th of March. I will either call or just wait and try again for the day the online form gives me the Touch Pro.

Company got me a new Touch Diamond, and I gave my Mogul to a co worker. Well, within a week the port on the Mogul went bad. Called Sprint about the bad port, and at first they said they would swap out for another Mogul. After they worked the computer, they came back and said it would have to be a Touch Pro. So, the co worker got a new Touch Pro in about 2 days.

I can't go through 101 pages, but would it be possible for me to buy a used mogul add insurance and file an advanced claim to recieve a pro?

No, insurance is only offered on new current phones I believe within 30 days of purchase.

Try to be a little more specific before you decide to jump on your high horse to assume something negative is insinuated from another users attempt to better his understanding on how assurian/insurance works.

Insurance is offered on any phone. I just bought a second hand treo 800w as a work phone, and i'm able to get insurance on it. I had a software issue and it was replaced without further question.

I asked my previous question because I wanted to know if it was possible to do such a thing. Don't worry buddy I'm not hurtin to scam anyone for anything. The biggest reason for insurance rate hikes comes from all the new technology that has been included in ppc cell phones with in the last few years. If you notice the rates on the (cheaper and less advanced phones hasn't changed a bit). And yes scamming has probably played a little bit of a role too. Tool.

I contacted Sprint through the chat on their website and got my two Moguls/Titans swapped out for two BNIB Touch Pros!

Only thing was, I had to pay for the Touch Pros up front which was $800+ and then I sent back my old phones at which point they credited my Sprint account the $800+ I paid for the Touch Pros.

Now I have two new phones that are way better than the POS Moguls I had, and I won't have to pay a Sprint bill for at least 3-4 months.

I tried doing it on the phone with Sprint and after about 4 hours of getting transfered around and dealing with lies and BS, I finally just used the chat on their website and they did it right away without any problems.

Just make sure if you use the chat, you copy/paste the chat log so you have a copy in case they try to pull some crap on you. I made sure they knew I had a backup of the entire chat conversation :P
