Re: Bad news for Sprint...
I think they need to focus on Data and Smart Devices, look at all the Sprint users on this very site

Re: Bad news for Sprint...
The Rant gets advertised so that the teenage level will be intrigued and will ask mommy and daddy to buy it, for
"texting" exclusively.I have a cousin who is 15 she is intelligent and her parents spoil her, and this being said what does she ask for at Christmas time the "Rant". Just because all here lil girlfriends have one. Sprint reaches out to a certain marketing group as does every other provider, such as Verizon what Win Mo device do they advertise...They don't its BB storm all over, not the Omnia which in my opinion is a great device!!! All I'm trying to say is that the target for advertisement is teenager's. |

Re: Bad news for Sprint...
I wonder what Dan Hesse had to do to get the exclusive with the Pre? I wouldn't mind having been a fly on the wall in that conversation...

Re: Bad news for Sprint...
one more thing is why can't sprint get an exclusive phone?all we get is the phone first, but then every carrier gets the same phone and sometimes with better features.

Re: Bad news for Sprint...
What do you mean? Thats how all exclusives work. A carrier gets it for a limited time then its released for other carriers.

Re: Bad news for Sprint...
All of them...LOL!!! No but seriously he's right everytime sprint gets a phone then another carrier gets it pretty quick...Unlike VZW "Storm", At&t "Of course", and T-Mobile "G-1"...Great point made.

Re: Bad news for Sprint...
Um, ok. That deal is quite a bit different than any deal that's happened between a cellular provider and a hardware company. In fact, a deal like that has never happened before. Go back and check some of the news stories about when the iPhone was first released and see exactly what I'm saying. Apple was getting a ridiculous amount of $$$ from each person that signed with at&t, another thing that hadn't been done before.
