Is Sprint cracking down on data usage?

Thanks for all the info however I don't think T Mobile has service where I live and I refuse to go with Verizon as I have seen how friends and family of mine have been treated on Verizon. As far as the larger companies go that only leaves US Cellular (which I used to have and had extremely slow data) and AT&T (which I have been told has horrible coverage around here). I will likely stick it out with Sprint for a while. There are a few local prepaid companies I might look into that claim to offer unlimited calling and data for $40 a month and they say they have android phones. Sounds too good to be true but I am going to have to check it out.
