I just went back and read the first post .JAJAJAJA while I agree that sprints towers have been busted lately in alot of locations (search within the sprint community forums shows this) the epic bashing might be offensive to u.

its not the phone, it's sprints network. it has been jacked for months now. too many users on the same towers. i took 6 months of it and ended up leaving sprint after 5 years of service. they even let me out free of charge. i went to verizon and while i pay more, the coverage is kick ass and i finally get 4g in my home.

@fixxxer2008 where u at? im in the far north suburbs of Chicago and the service here has been bad too but they told me that by the end of September everything should be better.,its weird now cuz sometimes during the day I can get decent speeds, Saturdays are usually when my speeds are the best during the day while on Sundays they slow to a crawl.

grand rapids, mi. the towers were down here and overloaded since last febuary when we had that blizzard. sprint NEVER fixed it. i got fed up and asked @dan to be let out and they did.

yea supposedly MI is the worst. seems that the Great North American Blizzard of 2011 busted up the towers in alot of locations (including mine and urs) towers here won't be finished till the end of September. I'm even hearing that VZ is bad in some areas.

verizon is perfect here. do not let sprint tell you the snow had anything to do with it because it's BS. the towers are overloaded. they promised me a fix every month for 6 months and i gave up. that's why they let me out of $500 in eft's when i left. they knew they were in the wrong. it was soo bad here with service it even made the local news twice. my wife and i are perfectly happy with verizon now. i love having working 4g in my home for once. never had that with my evo. and best of all i do not need any airrave.

yea I'd pretty much say it'll be fixed by now, companies don't like being blasted in the media. same thing happened with the electric company here. they had this truck holding up a falling pole in front of this man's restaurant and it prevented him from getting any business and even several calls to the company didn't get it removed but as soon as the media got wind of it they got out and fixed it. I also did something similar with sprint when one of the thunderstorms caused widespread outages this radio station had a texting line where people can report outages and I posted my outage along with the sprint tower issues and they read my text word from word. about a week later sprint sends a newsletter and puts "we're improving your network experience" in it. since then my 3G service has been gradually improving and will be improved by the end of September (or so they tell me) so we'll see.

Sprint service has sadly gone downhill in Chicagoland over the past year, especially the north suburbs.

north suburbs is fine. just not my city (Zion) Waukegan and Gurnee are just fine, Kenosha WI kinda sucks but it's still not as bad as Zion,specifically the north and south sides.

My ex has the Evo...she has yet to see 4G...
