actually, i beg to differ. i had a jerk in airave tech support tell me the airvana wouldn't help me at all. then he spent 10 minutes typing a note on my account because i had been promised the unit earlier in the day. i told him about this website and what people had posted. i said you can tell me you know what you are talking about but many other knowledgeable people would disagree.

he then called a supervisor in retention who told him i was getting my unit. he quickly shout his pie hole!

They arent budging. I was told the 3g airrave isnt available until 2011.

How long should I wait to sell the 2nd one they sent me? It shows up on my account, but can I just sell it to someone for $40 or something? I just don't want to end up getting charged for it in the end.

if it shows up on your account, and its free, id put it somewhere else i didnt have signal. my grandmas home burned down a few months ago and weve all been over there helping rebuild and she gets no service(att). most of us have sprint(still no service). id take it there and be a freaking signal life saver!

are both the airvanas on your account? i have 2 but only one is on my account. and i wasn't charged for either.

yup, I actually see 3 on my account. 1 is the original and then I see 2 Airave Access Points.

It's total crap. It should be free. Who the heck would ask for one for the hell of it? Why should I use my internet and pay a fee because your service stinks?

after the latest OTA for the EVO when in airave coverage i cant get incoming calls. i can make calls, my data is perfect but no incoming calls. ive reset it, my internet and router and still have the problems. my wifes hero and my brothers EVO still work(in airave coverage). anyone else have anything similar?

so is the airvana better than the airave? i have no problems with my airave at home, and i get evdo service anyway in my house

Anyone had to reset theirs yet. I was getting roaming/no signal tonight. Pulled the plug on the Airvana and plugged it back in. After about 5 minutes I had 3G back. Hope I don`t have to do that often.

The new airave blows. It doesnt work half the time. Im going back to the old one. I miss so many important calls and emails.

i had to do that too! i was getting a message that i wasnt authorized to make calls. i happened to all 3 sprint phones in my house. i had to reset the airave. instantly, all our bars dropped to 1, but we could make phone calls again. when the airvana reset, all was good. about 9:30 my time last night. mustve been a network problem, not an airave problem.

I was able to get them to send me the new airrave but im having trouble setting it up. The broadband and GPS lights are solid green but the mobile light is flashing tan. Been like this for 2 days. ANy ideas?

When the mobile light is flashing tan, you need to reset the device. I'm honestly getting sick and tired of this crap and I'm about to reinstall my older airrave. This new one is absolute garbage. I've reset and repowered this thing almost daily. And they constantly have another excuse, bad tower in the area, need software upgrade, bad internet (tested it every time, it's damn near perfect, even they admit that...) it's slowing down my upload and dl speeds since internet runs through it and every time I have to reset it, I lose connectivity for between a few minutes and a couple of hours. And they sent me two of them, both of them are having the same issues!!! Never had these issues with the original airrave. Hell I'm almost on a first name basis with some of the guys in airrave support!!
