Re: SERO Premium

I have been following the Sero news as well, and this is what I understand:

Starting 10/1/10 Sero users will be able to add android devices to their account for an additional $10/mo. If you chose to go with a 4G device (the Evo of the other new Samsung with the kbd) you have to pay an additional $10/mo on top of that for "premium data".

I know that Sero users had the option to do BIS for an additional $10/mo for awhile now. Maybe they were doing and audit and noticed you weren't paying for yours?! Who knows. Either way, I would prob try to call retentions and have them add-on the BIS for free..

Re: SERO Premium

Yesterday I used an online form from Sprint to request a change in my SERO F&F plan. I had the $49.99 SERO F&F 1250 for over three years and yesterday changed it to the $30 SERO F&F 500 plan which is the exact same plan with 500 minutes instead of 1250 daytime talking minutes. That will work fine for me. When Oct 1 rolls around and I decide to get maybe the Evo, the $10 + $10 fees added to my $30 SERO plan will bring the total to only $50/mo.

The online form states that it is for Sprint employees that have SERO accounts and are leaving the company, but if you choose option one it will work for anyone that has SERO already. I already received an email from Sprint saying that the change has been made and it will take affect beginning my next billing cycle which is about one week from now.

If anyone is interested in the link to the online form, let me know.

Re: SERO Premium

I alos got this:

Good Morning Jean

Thanks for contacting Everything Referral Programs. With the upcoming pricing changes to the SERO program the EPIC and EVO device will become compatible with these plans. These changes are effective during our SERO customers October billing cycles. Please note, however, the cost of the plan would be an additional $20 a month to your current cost with an EVO or EPIC active. These additional costs are $10 a month additional for an Iconic device which will include Navigation and the Anymobile Anytime option to the SERO plan and an additional $10 a month for the premium data experience on the EVO or EPIC.

Sincerely,
Georgia W.

Re: SERO Premium

You guys suck!! Na, not really just kidding. I havent gotten my letter yet, but theres enough proof floating around out there that makes me confident that this will indeed happen for me as well.
Maybe there will be some Epics and Evos on the second hand market by then at a decent price
