Exclamation Bye Bye Retentions Department - for SERO users!

So... I called Sprint yesterday because at the store they told me to call and they could give me a discount/credit for a discontinued phone I bought.... anyway, I went from customer care to a supervisor to a manager (I believe he was an escalations manager) and they said they couldn't help me... so when I asked to speak to retentions (Retentions is the most awesome department in Sprint) they said that Retentions will no longer handle any part of Sprint SERO accounts... THAT STINKS! If anyone has spoken to Retentions before, they are the last hope... the ones that hook you up!... so I guess we're stuck with regular customer service now ...has anyone else heard this?

Yes I had the same experience. When I went to cancel the service, it took me to SERO care.

yes it is. SERO care specifically handles customer issues on their SERO account hence the department name.

Not a damn thing. Sprints attitude is be grateful for your cheap SERO account and don't ask for anymore leniancy. They would not budge at all for me when I asked for any favors.

They were quite friendly with me! Just took over a Sero account last night. Called in and got Pick 3 added but it showed up as a $5 charge. Called back and they they suggested I change it to Sprint to Home(1 number unlimited minutes) for FREE, which I did. He said let me see if there's any other discounts I can find for you!

Im not saying they are not friendly, just saying hard to get any special favors.you got very lucky. I couldn't even transfer my sero account to my girlfriend even after talking to 4 different reps and a supervisor
