So I saw my bill today. I see they prorated for a month to make it 55 bux and then they charged 79.99. Plus my insurance of course. My question is are they charging for approximately 2 months. Will my next bill come in September instead of August or will I just get a smaller bill in August.

Glad I'm not the only person that saw it to be strange. Oh ya and I forgot to add I was charged the 36 dollar activation fee. Hopefully I can get that waived. I was hoping to talk to Sprint over chat on the Evo but the send button on the flash page doesn't work.

Let me know if you get that $36 waived. My dealer told me no way... I called sprint and they only waive it if you do it online, and since online had none when i got mine the 2nd day i was out of luck except to wait for online to have them... who wanted to wait...

Re: Get your bill today? yikes

Hope you guys know that Sprint is a pre-paid service..........kinda! When you get new charges you get new minutes and stuff...........and from the date your cycle hits thats when you have to pay!

So your first month is usually combined with your second months bill if you're a new customer!

+1.....also, if you used your upgrade to get your evo, new customer or not, you will get double billed because you have a brand new contract. If you didnt i have no idea what to tell you unless if you had to switch plans that will happen too. i changed my plan once and got prorated I was pissed but thats unfortunately just how sprint does their thing.

Re: Get your bill today? yikes

I understand that they are billing us in advance for (next month) but why would they?

If I pay for next month now, then why would I have to pay my last month then?

If I paid for next month at the beginning of my last contract why are they prorating the last month before this contract since I am a month ahead from before?

I should theoretically be caught up the last month of my contract and not be charged anything, because I paid in the beginning.

(just wanted to make it more confusing) because to be honest it is pretty confusing.
