Can You Upgrade Early with Sprint

I have three pnones with Sprint, two are ready for a full upgrade, the third has a year left (so just $75 upgrade allowance on that one, and NO phone discount).

Has anyone been sucessful getting the full discount for all three phone in a case like this?.

Re: Can You Upgrade Early with Sprint

I would bet if you went through telesales and asked for supervisor, it might take sime push to get supervisor tell them customer care suggest youbspeakbwith supervisor, then explain what you want. Be sure you have zero balance on your bill, speaking points include multiple lines, longevity, renew contract, preimere member, etc.

Stay nice don't get mad but don't quit. You'll be played a bit, be put on hold to check your account etc. If you have been "good" I think it will be a go. Use the word "exception" to get that third phone upped early. Without arguing add that you have spoken to others who've gotten really good deals and would love to be one of them. Just keep at it without arguing or getting angry, be sure you're talking to supervisor. I got my premeire upgrade pushed in this way. Then I fell all over myself thanking the dude and he credited my rebate too. Lol

Excellent Now I just need Sprint to release some Evo's online. Their site says that their "Virtual shelves" are empty .....how is that even possible?... virtually empty I'd understand!...

I agree w eenie. Persistence pays in the end. Just keep at it. Be nice and polite and flattering and persistent to the sprint retention reps and you will eventually end up with your request if it's not completely out of line...

It's good to see that some reps still see the value of loyal customers and repeat business.....

Re: Can You Upgrade Early with Sprint

I had a TP earlier this year. I went out and bought a TP2 from a Sprint Store. TP2 had issues and Sprint had crappy customer service. So, I ate the $35 return fee and brought the TP2 back to the store, reactivated my TP. That same day my TP started having issues, I went to the nearest Sprint repair center and they offered to replace it with a new TP2. I saved over $300 and still got the phone that I originally paid for it. This was a brand new TP2 that I bought, so when I brought it back to Sprint, all I wanted is to exchange for another new one in the box. Sprint said that they were out and that I had to wait unless I wanted a refurbed TP2, that's why I returned it.... Heck, if I wanted a refurbed TP2, I could bought one for a lot less without Sprint....
You do need to have a warranty on your current phone though. The repair center must either repair your current phone or replace it with either the same model or comparable model. Just putting in my 2c....

Re: Can You Upgrade Early with Sprint

Umm OP is talking about upgrading early not return exchange. Good info though, you could always try a different store when exchanging phones.
