I'm in the North Chicago burbs and 4G is pretty good. The Best Buy where I picked up my Evo has a repeater on the roof. I just tested here at my office which is right off interstate 94 and got 5.86 up and 0.97 down so no complaints here.

yeah as per my twitter findings we are getting a fast spread out of 4g most of pg county has 4g , dc has 4g , and all of nothern va has 4g

Well LA is kinda spotty actually. I have been driving around a bit with the WiMax Engineering on using ##DEBUG#.

Anyway I have started a custom Google Map for those who are in LA would would love to fill in what they found.

The DC area break down..... Dupont circle area has 4g(1-2 bars),Cap Hill has 4g and spots, and uptown NW its and good areas. But and Georgetown, Hyattsville, Silver Springs and 495 has 4g(3bars)...... I cant wait for whole DC become 4g.....

I found 4G in Silver Spring and Hyattsville, Maryland. The Silver Spring signal is much better than in Hyattsville. Silver Spring had nearly a perfect signal and I had a download speed of over 3Mbps. I didn't find YouTube HD to be all that fast. Perhaps I didn't have a great signal. Browsing the web was noticably faster, however.
