Re: whose with me?

Totally false. T-mobile has 3G just about everywhere Sprint does these days. The days of them lacking are in the past. T-Mobile has been upgrading their network for the past few years now.

ah thats a big negative..lol thats only in major cities... not in the country or rural areas.. I just left t-mobile after trying them for 3 weeks. the coverage sucked.3g was 30 miles away from me.. not to mention i roamed at my house. front porch att. back porch t-mobile. and nothing in the house..

att almost the same.. they have spotty 3g coverage in town. out where i live edge..

sprint have evdo rev a everywhere i go in my house outside.. etc. same with verizon.. Ive got a tower less than 3 miles from my house..lol

att and t-mobile still have alot of catching up to do on coverage in the country or rural areas.

but if u want to spend more go to whoever u like.. im not gonna pay for crap with att or tmobile.. and verizon lol sorry too much money for my blood, lol

I have a hero, my wife has a tour. we are happy, and save alot of money over the other 3.. end of rant.

Bottom line, until the HTC HD2 comes out, the TP2 is still about the best equipped handset on the market. Sprint isn't the only company lagging in the smartphone game. Verizon doesn't have anything appealing outside of Droid and adding the Palm line doesn't do it for most of us. AT&T still doesn't even have an Android device, their top of the line: TP2 or iPhone 3gs. T-Mobile has a TP2 as well, which again, is their top of the line device.

No carrier is really doing much to impress any of us right now. So, jump ship to whatever carrier floats your boat. But chances are good you'll either be dealing with crappy 3g coverage w/ T-Mo, or paying $200+ more/yr for Verizon or AT&T.

Who's to say that once you get on a different carrier's network, you won't be singing the same tune about not getting new devices a year from now?
exactly well said...

I'm not going to get into coverage issues. If you live out in the middle of nowhere, then your coverage will definitely be different than someone who lives in a city. But on the pricing, you're wrong. T-Mobile is cheaper than Sprint.

well if u sign a 2 year contract.. its not cheaper..put it this way

Even More for Families 750 Talk 59.99
data 30.00x2 = 60.00
unlimited text 10x2=20

so 150.00 a month before taxes..is the best u can do on a contract with t-mobile for 2 lines with unlimited data and text and a small 750 bucket to share..

vs

sprint before my discount mind u.
Everything Data Share 1500

129.00 a month for unlimited everything. ( counting anymobile ) since i dont call many landlines, lol even before my 25% discount its still 30 bucks a month cheaper on contract for a family plan than t-mobile..

then if u do the even more plus..( which is not on contract. and u have to shell out for a phone ) the Even More Plus Family and Smartphone Service

1500 plan is 119.99 a month.. so really only bout 10 bucks cheaper than sprint..lol

and as far as coverage goes. ya. if your in the city like dallas and mesquite..which is 30 miles from me. u have great coverage from all 4 carriers.. but most people like me like to live out in the country away from traffic and congestion. and people..lol so sprint and verizon works for us country folk.lol

now im not attacking u just stating the facts for ya..

Re: whose with me?

No thought of that here. Verizon works so poorly where I live my parents bought cell phones to save on long distance, then they ended up buying long distance on the home phone because the Verizon phones sounded terrible.

I agree that Sprint needs to make some big announcements and get some nice new phones, but phones are only 1/3rd of the equation.

I'm not going to go to a different carrier just because they have a shiny new phone. The coverage and the price have to be there too.

Also, let's look at some of the things Verizon does that Sprint doesn't. I just upgraded my Mifi to allow roaming, Verizon has said they will not enable this feature.

My Sprint phones have never had an issue running third party GPS software.

I see a lot of people seem to hate on Sprint, and while I agree they need to kick it up a notch with their phone line, I think they offer a quality product for a competitive price.

Compare that same Sprint plan to the T-Mobile Even More Plus plan and it's $10 per month cheaper than Sprint- as I originally stated. And that is without even having a contract. So it's cheaper than Sprint right now, and you can leave whenever you want without an ETF.

So the bottom line is, if you have T-Mobile coverage in your area, you'd be pretty foolish to choose Sprint over them. T-Mobile has faster data, better phones, cheaper rates, and better technology powering their network (you can use data while on the phone, conference calling works, cell tower location works, etc). And there aren't too many places that Sprint has service and T-Mobile doesn't these days. Yes, I know Sprint had better service back in the day when you could roam without limits and T-Mobile didn't even have 3G yet. But nowadays Sprint doesn't want anyone roaming anymore (probably because Verizon now owns Alltel) and T-Mobile has been rolling out the nations fastest 3G at a record pace. And that already fastest 3G in the nation is going to get 3 times faster in a few months...

And don't bother mentioning that you have to shell out for a phone on T-Mobile. You have to shell out for a phoone on Sprint too. Sprint might give you $150 off if you sign a contract, but their phones are more expensive than T-Mobile's anyway. Plus, T-Mobile will let you break the cost of the device up into 20 interest free payments if you want- still without signiong a contract on the plan...

Re: whose with me?

T-Mobile seriously does not cover Kansas while Sprint and Verizon and soon to be AT&T do. Otherwise I would switch.

Jason: I clean two separate Kroger facilities.
