USB Tethering **Native**

I'm just a N00B.. but i tether my TP2 on android with a free app called PDAnet.. Works great.. I know it's not a *Native* solution... but thought it might help someone.

In the FAQ I also mention EasyTether works, and is free... but I'd prefer to get the native form workin. hyc seems to have some ideas, as usual

hyc did indeed figure it out - 20110506_232639 (aka 1313) has the fix!

I try on XP sp3 but doesn't work

Worked great for me, wanna be a little more descriptive? Like what you tried, what you're seeing, etc...

I try the "hyc 20110506_232639 (aka 1313)" on FRX06 (on SD card), windows try to install the device but it fail, and after I see the device as a removable device.
And ubuntu 10.04 too.

Did you even try to turn on USB tethering in Android...? It worked in Ubuntu before that latest patch. Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> USB tethering...

You're also replacing the kernel correctly? Verify in Settings -> About Phone -> Kernel version.
