Well, you dont gotta be so harsh but be helpful by atleast directing me to the correct section. Its not even that serious. You should really check yourself and treat people how you wish to be treated. I would have kindly helped you. Maybe for now on, just dont respond to any question on the forum if you cant be nice. God bless you.

You won't get WinMo help here, that's my point. You even assumed that everyone else should in turn assume that you mean WinMo when you're in the Android dev section... wth?

Curse you.

If you can't be bothered to find the right section on your own, then you obviously are unwilling to help yourself. How can I help someone who is unwilling to help themselves?

In the words of Ralphie - "That's unpossible."

I would expect to be treated like an idiot if I act like one. Good day.

Re: Boost Mobile Pic Messaging... Plus More!

Back to the original task at hand of this thread!

I can receive MMS's but then when I go to download them thats all it ever does, is say downloading the whole time. But never does open up. I'm using FRX07 complete bundle...
_

lascott7 go simply open and create a thread in the normal Touch Pro2 section, not that ANDROID Section, your problem persists in Windows Mobile... NOT ANDROID, so of course you're not going to get help for a windows mobile problem in a android thread. Or are you too damned lazy to create your own thread?

Have you tried just pictures, or is it pictures + text? Reason I ask is the behavior in how the message is delivered differs greatly depending if there's text with the pic, or just a pic.

I have not a clue how Boost works, but I had to work with hyc closely for many weeks to get it working correctly for Sprint. MMS is very, very broken for Sprint (this is a carrier-issue mind you, not something with our port or even Android...) and it's probably broken in the same or similar way for Boost...

...Did you miss my post?

There's a huge difference between sending just a pic, and sending a pic with text 'attached'. Sprint's (and likely Boost's) system mangles the message as it goes through their servers, and hyc had to do quite a bit of work to get our port to play nicely with Sprint's broken way of handling MMS.

Naw I didn't miss it and neither incoming or outgoing mms's had text in them...

What was weird was another pic message came while the other was downloading... So I went to the new mms thread and the pic had already downloaded... Small pic? So I closed it and went back to the other mms thread to check it's progress and it had downloaded suddenly. So I guess it took a smaller push of another mms to get it to kick in and downloading... Sounds odd, I know! LoL

Ever since then I've had no problem receiving mms.

And that's all that matters in the end .

Took a ton of hard work by THE man highlandsun. He doesn't even have a Sprint phone or service, but he still got it working just as it should. I'm still amazed by this!

Or was this a known issue already in FRX07

No problems here.
