Not sure how to help you, it works flawlessly for every other person - hence the reason that there aren't 500 threads on this issue. You're the only one to my knowledge that has issues, so you must be doing something different.

This last time I didn't I installed Tiad08's FROYO X GINGER and went to sync with GMail my contacts, thats when they all showed up but blank, so I unclicked my account to sync my contacts and imported them through vcf and everything showed up sort of...
