I'm using Android pretty much full time now and (other than power management - I can live without the camera) this is the only major sticking point left for me. I've basically just setup 2 startup.txt files now and rename them and boot in as needed. One for when I'm in the car and want to listen to podcasts (my mic also works so I can still field calls too.) But whenever I'm out of the car I have to switch back over to the non-tweaked startup.txt.
