Yes, and there's several update locations. These are the ones I know:

zImage/modules
rootfs
initrd

You may want to do some more reading before you go jumping into anything tho...

Should is a very strong word :P There's some things that may still not work here & there, but for the most part it should all work. There's still random crashes and bugs, so it's not like the things that are working are flawless.

Delete the ts-calibration file and re-run. It'll ask you to recalibrate, be sure to watch it and do it! I think it times out and you'll be stuck with a completely uncalibrated screen.
