Re: Blazen Overclock
Well, you can try editing your startup.txt file to a lower overclock and see if the stability improves. What is it set to now?

Re: Blazen Overclock
Hm you could try to take the overclock line out of your startup.txt and see if you still have the same issues. What are you doing on the phone when it reboots? Is it anything specific?

Re: Blazen Overclock
what line do I need to edit/delete in startup.txt to disable overclocking?
My TP2 runs very hot on Blazen, doesn't last more than 30 minutes on batttery usually. Last edited by goltoof; 09-30-2010 at 06:26 PM. |

acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=825600 If you want to disable it, just delete that string altogether. 825600 = 825mhz 806400 = 806mhz 787200 = 787mhz 768000 = 768mhz 748800 = 748mhz 729600 = 729mhz 710400 = 710mhz You can keep going lower, just subtract 19200 from each khz value to get the next lowest value. |

Re: Blazen Overclock
Hm well this is the general rule of thumb I have been following and it seems to work fine. I've noticed that for instance if I put 825000 (instead of 825600), it scales itself down to the next lowest value, which is 806400 as opposed to if I put 825600 it will stay at 825.
