I'd like to do some internal memory testing. Could everyone please run these commands in a terminal on their phone please?

su
modprobe mtdchar
dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd0 of=/sdcard/imgfs.bin skip=6608 bs=8192 count=16

This will create a small 128K file that I would like you to attach. Rename imgfs.bin to your name.device.bin. I would be:
WoZZeR.RHOD500.bin

zip up the file and attach to the thread. it will be on your sdcard.

No, download a terminal from the market (search terminal, get the 5 star one). Run the terminal, then type that stuff in.

Sprint Rhod400 currently active on Boost (if that matters)

Pretty sure it was run from the Froyo 2.2 reference, but honestly I've played with so many Android files lately I can't be positive.

I just remembered, this is using the Tinboot and the latest modules*.tar.gz correct?

I got a "No such file or directory" when I did the modprobe mtdchar

I deleted the old modules and copied the new one off of the 1st post...do I need to leave old one as well?

EDIT: I deleted all the modules*.tar.gz and copied only the one that modprobe said it was missing, I attached my imgfs.bin... Sprint TP2 (rhod400)
