Re: Goodbye Touchpro 2 - You will be missed
I have the headset issue as well, if you take it to the store, how much is it to upgrade instead of getting a new tp2? Or is it full price still?

I was considering getting rid of my TP2 also, but then I got this Android build working on it and I am in love with my phone again. It's nice to see if perform to it's potential.

Re: Goodbye Touchpro 2 - You will be missed
Just wanted to thank everyone involved in this wonderful project.
I was one of the few sick of wimo and wanted to jump ships to the epic on launch day. At the last minute I changed my mind and keep updating with each new release. I must say that I'm still at a loss as to why they disrespected the touch pro 2 by making winmo its default os! I'm going to put this in the same category as the Sega Dreamcast, great hardware that never saw its true potential. I realized although I love my TP2 and there is no android phone that comes close to the solid build, the "just right" size and amazing speaker, the best experience i could expect to achieve was that of the sprint hero if everything worked 100% (which is not saying much). After giving android on the TP2 a shot as the main OS for a week (not just for a few hours) I realized it was time for me to purchase a new phone with similar attributes that made the TP2 my favorite phone to date and ran Android as the default OS. I ended up getting the Epic and although I am ecstatic and amazed with the hardware and the endless possibilities Android brings to the table, I still miss my touch pro 2. |

Re: Goodbye Touchpro 2 - You will be missed
Tp2 is a good phone but winmobile has got to go. Sprint needs to stop selling all the winmobile phone. They are too slow and buggy. Winmobile has cause me so much headaches and frustration that I can't wait to get rid of it.

As much as I love Android on the Touch Pro2, for me , it is not ready for everyday use. But there have been major strides made recently. |
