Re: TP2 running droid and on boost mobile?
Hey there Mike and Mikey, I'm Ashley and I have the TP2 and I kinda got my self stuck.
![]() I would like to see if either of you can help me out since you have the TP2flashed over to boost too. I flashed it over from sprint to boost and I have the phone up and working. Text, Calling, and Wi Fi. However, the phone internet isn't working. I was told by a "Cell Phone Guy" --Girl talk :-p -- that I need the APN settings. When I log on the phone net it just askes for a user name, password, and doman. [plus it have an advanced setting button.] I'v called every one in the phone book, searched every web site pertaining to TP2 and APN settings for boost. I'm at a loss. Girl in distress... lol I'd thank you much for any guidance in the right direction. Ash. |

Re: TP2 running droid and on boost mobile?
I've had 2 different TP2's on Boost CDMA for awhile.
The trick is to get it to provision in Windows Mobile before you install Android. Once provisioned, I had no issues getting a data connection what so ever. I never had to do anything except start haret, and go. ** Remember the easiest way to provision a TP2 on Boost (in Windows Mobile) is to back up your data, then dial ##786#. Enter your MSL (SPC, to some - available from a Boost CSR) and your phone will hard reset, and then hands free activate. Automatically provisioning EVERYTHING for you. **NOTE: Some people claim the phone needs to have been activated on Sprint's network for this procedure to work for Boost...IDK. NOTE 2: I'm not trying to go off topic, but it does have to do with getting a TP2 on Boost with Android getting a data connection. ![]() |
