I've had 2 different TP2's on Boost CDMA for awhile.
The trick is to get it to provision in Windows Mobile before you install Android.
Once provisioned, I had no issues getting a data connection what so ever.
I never had to do anything except start haret, and go.

Remember the easiest way to provision a TP2 on Boost (in Windows Mobile) is to back up your data, then dial ##786#.
Enter your MSL (SPC, to some - available from a Boost CSR) and your phone will hard reset, and then hands free activate. Automatically provisioning EVERYTHING for you.
**NOTE: Some people claim the phone needs to have been activated on Sprint's network for this procedure to work for Boost...IDK.
NOTE 2: I'm not trying to go off topic, but it does have to do with getting a TP2 on Boost with Android getting a data connection.
