There is no such feature, Some one is finding his posts informative or thinking them for other means. As for the accusations of him thanking him self. Look at your own posts... Do you see the ability to stroke your own ego? None of us can do that here.

The op removed his "thanks fishing" and Isn't doing anything wrong per-say, So why don't we move along guys and gals. I'm not much of an android buff on my TP2 so I'm not to sure what to make of this but he at least is trying to explain it i suppose.

But he is doing wrong, he's causing unnecessary banter. Everyone knows that he doesn't know much about this stuff and yet continues to "copy and paste" others' work in order to build his reputation. This is not only unethical, but just plain silly. This is abuse of the system.

But even so, back to my original statement... banter... Notice how there's now 3 pages of unnecessary posts? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm here for the android development, not to read repetitive posts and flame wars. He has already stated in multiple threads that he's "just trying to build reputation." It's one thing to try and help the community, it's another to try to raise your status by using other people's hard work...

I totally agree. If I had to guess, the OP's native language is not English. So the translation seems to fall short for him/her.

First off this is not my build I post the guy's build from southcape, so let us get this fact on straight first. Secondly you have no described in not detail what so ever how this build damaged your phone. I want to have a mature discusion about the latest rootfs build and you have turned it in to a personal attack on me. So you are saying that this build did not damage your phone then.

I you have an issue about the OP (or me for that matter) and what he's posted send him a PM and let him know how you feel. Cluttering what could potentially be a helpful and informative thread makes the forum as a whole look bad... The OP's thread simply states: "Thoughts and comments about the latest android rootfs build rootfs..."

I think he was getting an opinion on the latest build... If you don't like him or his post you can do 1 of 2 things 1) Don't reply... just that simple. 2) PM him and tell him how you really feel there.

Just an FYI... the topic was CHANGED to what it is now. He posted a link to the latest rootfs and was looking for thanks. That's it, in plain black and white.

And trust me, if I felt that a PM was going to help. I would do just that. But instead I have used a better feature, called Report since this user has done this repeatedly and has had several topics closed due to this.

Thank you for your support. I am going to try to be the mature one and drop the matter even though knownforce has lied about me by saying I had several forums closed. I only had one forum closed. You need to learn how to forgive and start telling the truth. You and your friends harass me often when I try contribute to the forum. I could report you for that but, I want to be mature about the matter. Not everybody is a computer programmer. I am an appraiser and I love smart phones too and try me best to contribute.

What can we do to get resolved and stop this childish bickering?

Anyways I tried your modules-zimage-060710 as well and thanked you too. How do I get the battery guage to work? Do I need to do something else as well. Please note I did not post your module. The rootfs works and I am trying to get your module-zimage to work too so I can have the perfect android phone. Did I need to install the zimage as well?

Firstly, calling me a liar, and saying you're going to drop the matter are in contradiction with each other. Don't be an idiot. The only reason you're "dropping the matter" is because you know that I and everyone else that has said the same thing are correct. Stop trying to play it off, and accept the fact that you're as see through as a glass window.

Secondly, it's well within your right to report each and every one of us. Just as much as it was mine when I chose to do the same. I, however, have a real case against you and have SEVERAL people that will agree in this matter. You on the other hand might have a few unknowing people that have a low post count and have recently joined this community, and those that simply chime in because they can. And since your position has already been determined by more than one mod, I'm certain that you would not get very far with such a report.

I am mature, and am very forgiving. But I don't have patience for repeat offenders. It's like if you get arrested for the same crime 4 times. I think it's quite evident that you didn't learn much after the first 3 times...

As I have said before, There is NOTHING wrong with contributing. But "copy and pasting" from a thread that ALREADY exists in a thread in the same SUB-FORUM, AS A STICKY none the less, and claiming that you're helping in some way shape or form and asking for Thanks to build your reputation is NOT contributing.
