Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install

I was able to install correctly but also am unable to connect to the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I have the Sprint version and took out my SIM before starting up.

Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install

I've had this working since 3/31 and I have to say it is exactly what I have been looking for. Just make sure to check Force CDMA and update the files with the updater.

My first time through I couldn't get data, but after a soft reset I had no trouble. No problems since either.

Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install

hey guys, i installed this on my wifes Touch Pro II for T-Mobile service and everything is working great as far as the internet, sms, and mms also. But incoming calls are going directly to voicemail and not ringing to the phone. It can make outgoing calls just fine but not receiving calls. Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install

Is there a way to get the gps support in the lasest cab verison?:

It looks like there's (very preliminary) GPS support in the latest rootfs, thanks to phh and jonpry. AGPS support is not there yet, so it might take anywhere from 3-20 minutes to get a signal lock.

Replace the rootfs.img in your andboot folder with the linked version. You might also need to update to the newest kernel from Glemsom's site.

I haven't tried it yet, so I can't tell you much.

Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install

I was able to get my gps to work by take this file and extracting the file
1. Download the latest rootfs.
2. Extract the lastest rootfs and rename it to (rootfs)
3. Find the andboot folder on your storage card.
4. Replace the rootfs file on your storage card with the new one you downloading from the web.
5. Run android and you are finished.

Now my gps works and I am happy!!!
