Read the first few posts of this thread... If you took 2 seconds to read, you'd notice this thread's first post hasn't been updated in quite some time... That other thread I linked however has been updated.

FYI, I don't know if anyone has posted this earlier, but I think the best method for transferring contacts over from WinMo to Android is to manually set up Active Sync on your phone to connect to GMail The following link shows you how to do this. Once you have, Active Sync keeps your contacts current with Google and Android keeps contacts current back the other way.

Hi. Just realized this is thed problem thread for froyo. Ill ask again here. Froyo sports the tethering ability in which vI am excited about. Only issue is that when I enable wifi tether under wireless settings........ I says "error". Anyone got it to work? I did enable wifi in windows prior to launching froyo and it did not work still. Thank you..

Does anyone have a solution as to why data and network connectivity worked on the 9/16 build but not the 9/26 build. I have no signal at all and searching for networks come up with none available.

I'm not sure how data and network connectivity are two separate things... Unless you're referring to network connectivity as simply making/receiving calls.

Assuming you're CDMA, you need to have that force cdma command in the startup.txt. Also, use haret.exe to launch Android, do NOT use MGJDroidUtil. It causes issues with the startup, and I don't think there's an update for it yet... but hopefully the devs update it soon so I can quit telling people to not use it because it is a nice utility when it works correctly :D

Yes im CDMA and yes i am referring to just the ability to make and receive calls. THe odd part is that everything works whenever i use the 9/16 build but not the 9/26. I will definately take your advice and try to use haret.exe instead.

Check the force cdma command in the startup.txt as well. You say you're using 2 different builds, so I'm going to assume they're completely separated on the card... Which would mean two different startup.txt's.

I made sure to remove the sim card, but I can't get service no matter what I try. I'm not able to make calls or use the data connection. I have the Sprint CDMA TP2. Is there a way to fix this?

Double check your startup.txt file. This has happened a lot recently where people had two instances of the force_cdma option in their startup.txt. Delete the first one that says force_cdma=0, then use the droid launcher utility to force cdma.
